Cargo
SAS Cargo is located in the cargo building next to the terminal. West Air Sweden operates pure cargo and mail flights to Oslo, while Air Iceland has weekly fish transport to Iceland .

Apollo offers tours every year to Crete in the period June to August. Departure Saturday morning and return Saturday afternoon.
Star Tour
Star Tour offers tours every year to Gran Canaria and Mallorca. Gran Canaria in the period from October to April and Mallorca in the period May to August. Winter 08/09 is the departure of Gran Canaria on Wednesday, the winter 09/10 on Friday. The trips to Mallorca Mallorca has departure and arrival on Saturday afternoon.

Future plans
Parking
There are concrete plans for a new parkinghouse to be located on the current P1. It is thought built over 2 levels and will provide approximately 150 additional parking spaces.
The terminal
The terminal is planned expanded to the north (toward P1). This expansion will include new expedition area and will free area for larger gates and greater arrival hall where the expedition is located today.
Access road
New access road towards E-39 is under construction. Access road to connect to E-39 at the junction of Road 64 Cross solution is a four entry/exit roundabout and is part of the work of the future 4-lane motorway against Molde city center.
Tower
New tower are being planned. Plans are to locate it north of the current terminal building.

History
Molde Aeroklubb
Molde Aero Club's activities is flight school, split cost and rental. The club has a Piper 180 (LN-KAF) and a Cessna 177 (LN-TST).

Parking
Short term parking
For those who will deliver or pick up travelers, or have other shorter errands, short term parking is located next to the cargo building. There is also parking spaces reserved for drivers with functional disabilities.
P1
P1 is located at the terminal north entrance just after the bridge over the Årødalsriver. Here it´s free the first 30 minutes. That means you do not have to pay any fee if you do not find vacant space within 30 minutes (it may periodically be full). You get the parking ticket when you drive into the parking lot. Bring this ticket with you and payment machine is located in the bridge into the terminal.
P2
P2 er lokalisert mellom Årødalselva og E-39. Innkjøring finner du rett før brua over Årødalselva. Avstand til terminalen er ca 150 til 200 meter. Avgift betales på automat ved innkjøringen. Utstedt billett legges i bilens frontrute.

P1: 30min-gratis, 1 tim-kr 20, 1 døgn-kr 100, 1 uke-kr 700, 2 uker-kr 1400, 3 uker-kr 2100.
P2: kr 80 første døgn, kr 150 andre døgn, kr 180 tredje døgn, kr 210 fjerde døgn, kr 240 femte døgn, deretter kr 25 pr døgn. Spesialtilbud til reisende med Ving eller Star Tour i vinter (08/09) til kr 100 pr uke.

The Terminal
Today's passenger terminal at Molde Airport Årø was built in the early 90's, but was not finished in its present form before the fall of 2008. Before the current terminal was built the original terminal stood in front of the current terminal, about 20 meters closer to the runway.
Check in and tickets
The terminal is designed for about 450,000 passengers per year, but it is expected that the number of terminal passengers will exceed this number within the next few years. Therefore, there are concrete plans for expansion. The expansion will be to the north (toward P1). Here, all the features like check in and ticket office will be placed. This will free up space in which these functions are located to date. This space will be used for larger arrival hall and gates.

Wireless internet:
Access to wireless internet can be purchased in the terminal. The network is called AIRPORT.
Dining:
Before you pass the security control you will find the restaurant Flavors. Here you can buy simple food dishes, groceries, toiletries, etc.
After the security check, at Gate 4, you'll find Bari. Here it´s served simple food dishes, soda, beer and wine.
There are two tax-free shops in the terminal, one in the departure hall at Gate 4 and one in the arrival hall.

To and from the airport
Molde Airport Årø is located right in the middle of Møre og Romsdal county, 6 km from Molde city center and is the airport which covers most inhabitants in the county within a travel time of 1.5 hours. When the new E 39 highway in Gjemnes council is ready for use, most of Kristiansunds inhabitants can reach Årø by car within 35 to 40 minutes.
By car
To and from Molde city center takes between 10 and 25 minutes, depending on how much traffic there is.
